Produced between 1976 and 1980 following the success of the Mk1, Ford allowed it's stylists free reign for the first time to design the RS version of the Mk2 making it far more distinctive with it's nosecone containing four round lights and deeper front bumper/spoiler, cut back wings, shorter bonnet and full width boot spoiler creating that unmistakeable presence.
